The Teeta began recording music in his teens with Austin's pioneering Hip Hop group Team Next. Teeta, along with the youthful collective, sparked a movement that shifted the landscape of Austin Hip Hop during the late 2000s and early 2010's before branching off as a solo act in 2016.
With his first release "Keys" he would go on to land his first major blog placement, with the now defunct Mishka Bloglin. The successful rebrand would solidify The Teeta as an innovator, garnering him a fan base outside of Texas reaching New York, Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles & everywhere in between. Teeta has gone on to drop several full-length projects, singles, & collaborations with Yung Simmie, Chxpo & Spaceman Zack among others.
In the fall of 2018, The Teeta was crowned as one of the leaders of the Next Generation of Austin Hip Hop" by his peers and the Austin Chronicle, making him a true staple in his region. 2023 is gearing up to be another standout year for The Teeta, as he has kicked off the year with several stellar performances at SXSW, as an official artist once more & puts the finishing touches on his next full-length project.
